Keep Savannah Rep’s Ghost Light Lit
Ghost Light: a light that is left on after everybody has left the theatre. It stays on the whole time when people are not there until the lights in the theatre are operating again. It protects the theatre both practically and supernaturally through the darkest times.
As you know, it is impossible to cancel performances and completely suspend operations without creating serious and lasting hardships for Savannah Rep, our staff, and family of artists. As a small non-profit arts organization, we rely heavily on your support. Now more than ever, your support is critical due to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19.
We recently launched the SAVREP COVID-19 GHOST LIGHT RELIEF FUND to help defray our costs until we can once again open our doors. All donations are tax-deductible and any contribution large or small is greatly appreciated.
Thanks to a generous anonymous patron, the first $500 of Ghost Light Fund donations will be matched in the month of September.
We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit and are eligible for all corporate matching gift programs. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org to organize a matching gift.
Pave The Way Engraved Stone Pavers are no longer available but will be offered again in the future.
Join us as we entertain, enrich and educate through the arts.
Savannah Repertory Theatre is passionately dedicated to great stories…in presenting the highest quality theatrical performances to entertain and educate the diverse population of one of America’s great literary and artistic cities. SAVRep engages a diverse community, and provides insight into the human experience, while maintaining our productions to be sustainable, affordable, and professional.
As a 501 (c) 3 organization, Savannah Repertory Theatre operates as a Small Professional Theatre under an agreement with the Actors’ Equity Association, the Union of Professional Actors and Stage Managers in the United States. Depending on the available roles for any given production, Savannah Rep hires both equity and non-equity career actors locally and regionally. Using our professional actors & crew as teachers, student internships, field trip performances, and other educational programming we also inform and grow the next generation. It is our goal to help bring Savannah to the forefront of the American theatrical community in both art and education.
